Custom Time Functions

Custom Time Functions are a collection of functions that you can use in your Microsoft® Access® application to perform mathematical operations on custom time formats. Included are functions to add, subtract, multiply, and divide time variables that include time units below the value of seconds. Use Custom Time Functions to multiply and divide milisecond values, find the total length of a film plus any film trailers down to the level of frames per second, and more with this handy module.

Download ctf.zip - 64kb - For Access 97 (can be converted to other Access versions).


Instructions

Double-click the downloaded zip file to open it, then extract the .mdb file to a folder on your computer.

To use Custom Time Functions with your Access application:

1. Import the "basCustomTimeFunctions" module from the Custom Time Functions .mdb file into your application.
2. For examples of how to use these functions, please see the form "frmMain" in the "ctf97.mdb" database file.
